Stetson Bennett wouldn’t have been able to have the game he did if he didn’t get protection from his offensive line. In the game against TCU, no defender really ever got close to Bennett and he finished the game with zero sacks and zero QB hits.

One of the big parts of their offensive line is left tackle Broderick Jones who was already considered one of the top left tackles in this year’s class and only helped his case against TCU. He was consistently protecting Bennett’s blindside but also making plays in the run game like this one.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Broderick Jones end up being a Top 10 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft for a team looking to solidify the left side of their offensive line.
