Robbie Anderson

Last season, the Arizona Cardinals made another in-season trade and this time acquired wide receiver Robbie Anderson from the Carolina Panthers. Unfortunately, he had almost no impact on the Cardinals’ offense and finished with only seven receptions on 17 targets for 76 receiving yards in 10 games.

Anderson’s production has steadily decreased from 2020 when he had 95 receptions and over 1000 receiving yards in his first year with the Carolina Panthers. It might be a hard sell for the Cardinals as he also is scheduled to make $12 million next season.

However, he doesn’t have any guaranteed money so any team that was to trade for him could release him without any penalty.

It is unlikely that Robbie Anderson will be with the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 and if they do plan to release him, it is worth exploring potential trade possibilities and getting at least something in return.
