Another starter on the defensive side of the ball that is set to be a free agent this offseason is Cameron Sutton. He was a third round pick by the Steelers in 2017 but didn’t become a starter until the 2021 season.

However, over the past two seasons has been a key part of the secondary with five interceptions and 21 passes defended over that stretch.

While the Steelers will probably try to bring him back, if they are unsuccessful then Bucs’ cornerback Jamel Dean would be a great replacement. He is a year younger than Sutton and at this point in their careers would be considered an upgrade.

Over the past two seasons with the Bucs, Dean is allowing only about 50% of completions when opposing quarterbacks through in his direction and is an excellent tackler with only six missed tackles.
