. Defensive Tackle. Longhorns . Keondre Coburn. 163. player. 851

Last year, the New Orleans Saints struggled to stop the run and allowed on average 130.5 yards per game on the ground. They certainly should be looking to improve the defensive line, and with Shy Tuttle, who started 29 games over the past two seasons set to be a free agent, this should be a point of emphasis.

That is why Keondre Coburn out of the University of Texas is a great selection here for the New Orleans Saints in this 2023 NFL mock draft. He is a huge presence on the interior of defensive lines at 6’2″ and 343 pounds and in five seasons with the Longhorns had 95 total tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, and 6.5 sacks.

205. player. 854. . Defensive Tackle. Sun Devils . Nesta Jade Silvera

With the final pick in this 2023 NFL mock draft for the New Orleans Saints, they stay at the defensive tackle position and select Nesta Jade Silvera out of Arizona State.

However, he isn’t the same player as Keondre Coburn as he is more of a three-technique defensive tackle. He is smaller at 6’2″ and 306 pounds but has more quickness that allows him to penetrate and make more plays in the backfield.
