Before the 2023 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens are going to have a number of tough decisions with their roster. The most notable is whether or not they can come to an agreement on a long-term contract with their franchise quarterback, Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens have some options for Jackson but he isn’t the only free agent that could drastically alter their draft plans, both players who were with the team last year as well as outside free agents that they could target this offseason.

As previously mentioned Lamar Jackson is the biggest decision the Baltimore Ravens have to make this offseason. Their decision not only will have an impact on their team but create a ripple effect throughout the NFL.

The former MVP is set to be a free agent and Baltimore essentially has three options: sign him to a long-term deal, use the franchise tag and have him under contract for one more year or use the franchise tag and try to trade him. If they do try to trade him, it would bring back multiple first round picks but also force the Ravens to find a new quarterback.

Lamar Jackson is one of the biggest free agents this offseason and there isn’t a player who could alter the Baltimore Ravens’ draft plans more than him.
