Ben Powers

Ben Powers was a fourth round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2019 but didn’t become a full-time starter until during the 2020 season. Since that though, he has started almost every game and has 36 total starts during that stretch at guard.

Powers is an offensive lineman that excels in pass protection and this past season did not allow a single sack according to Pro Football Focus while playing over 1,000 snaps. He has proven over this time that he can be a quality starter and is someone that Baltimore should absolutely try to re-sign this offseason.

However, if they are unable to bring Powers back then the offensive guard position will certainly be a priority for this team heading into the 2023 NFL Draft. Whether it is Lamar Jackson or another quarterback under center, the Ravens should make sure the offensive line gives their quarterback time to make the necessary plays to keep the offense on track.
