If the Bucs are going all in on winning another Super Bowl then Lavonte David is another free agent that the front office will try to re-sign. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012 and has spent his entire NFL career in Tampa Bay.

He has been a fixture for this Bucs’ defense with 166 games played and nearly 1,350 total tackles. David has made one Pro Bowl and was named to the first-team All-Pro once, and second-team All-Pro twice.

One of the strengths of the Bucs’ defense recently has been their linebackers as David has played alongside Devin White the past few seasons. If the Bucs can keep these two together for another season or two, then linebacker no longer becomes a position of concern heading into the 2023 NFL Draft.
