After three straight defensive players, the Baltimore Ravens turn their attention to the offense and select wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft.

The Ravens have been known to be an offense with a strong run game and typically have leaned on tight end Mark Andrews for the production in the passing game. They attempted to improve the wide receiver position in 2021 with the selection of Rashod Bateman in the first round but he has missed a number of games in each of his first two years in the NFL.

The good news for Baltimore is that wide receiver Devin Duvernay emerged as a good slot receiver and finished with 37 receptions, 407 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. However, even with Bateman returning and Duvernay still a part of this offense, the Ravens could use more depth at the position.

Dontayvion Wicks is a player that could be a great selection here as he is a player who may not be ready to contribute right away but with a little time to develop could be a good fit. He is a big wide receiver at 6’1″ and 210 pounds and showed at Virginia that he could be a good vertical threat with an average of over 18 yards per reception that would be a good wide receiver to pair with Bateman and Duvernay.
