Miami Dolphins address both sides of the ball in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft

The Miami Dolphins made major changes to their franchise last year by spending big in free agency by adding players like Terron Armstead, Chase Edmonds, Cedrick Wilson and Connor Williams. In addition to that, they hired Mike McDaniels as their head coach and made the huge trade for Tyreek Hill.

Those moves paid early dividends as the Miami Dolphins jumped out to an 8-3 record. However, the team struggled down the stretch, even after making a trade for Bradley Chubb around the trade deadline, and only won one of their last six regular season games.

One of the big reasons for their struggles was the absence of Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered a second concussion of the season against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16 and missed the remainder of the year.

They would get into the playoffs but come up short against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round.

Now looking ahead to the 2023 NFL Draft, the Dolphins have a number of positions they could address but have only five draft picks after the trades they have made over the past year, along with forfeiting their own first round pick after an NFL investigation found they violated league policies.
