With the final pick in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft for the Miami Dolphins, they return to running back by selecting another one that should give them the depth they need. The Dolphins are set to lose multiple running backs so adding more than one, even though they do only have five picks, wouldn’t necessarily be surprising considering the talent they have at the parts of their roster.

DeWayne McBride was a very productive running back for UAB with over 3,500 rushing yards and 36 rushing touchdowns, including 32 in just the past two seasons. He has been a big part of the offense over those two years and last year had 20 or more carries in seven of the 11 games he played.

The Dolphins are going to need to make multiple moves at the position and by selecting McBride along with Tank Bigsby they get a quality one-two punch at running back.
