After three straight picks to add to their defense, the Atlanta Falcons move to the offense with their next pick in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft. Last year, the Falcons drafted Tyler Allegier who would go on to run for over 1,000 rushing yards and has put himself in a position to be the top running back heading into 2023.

In addition, the Falcons do still have Cordarrelle Patterson but at 31 years old and under contract for only one more season, the selection of Sean Tucker makes sense to pair with Allegier for the foreseeable future.

Sean Tucker was a big part of the Syracuse Orange’s offense the past two years with 452 carries, 2,556 rushing yards, and 23 rushing touchdowns. The reason Tucker makes sense for the Falcons is he brings speed to the position so Allegier could be the running back to wear down defenses with Tucker bringing that big-play potential from the position.
