A few picks after selecting Sean Tucker, the Atlanta Falcons are back on the clock in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft and go back to the defensive side of the ball with the selection of EDGE Zach Harrison out of Ohio State.

One of the top objectives for the Atlanta Falcons this offseason is to improve their pass rush after only being able to record 21 sacks, which was the second lowest total in the league. I believe the Falcons could look to add pass rushers in free agency and that is why they wait until this point to add to the position.

Zach Harrison played four seasons with the Buckeyes and was one of the most consistent players on their defense. He finished each season with two or more sacks and 4.5 or more tackles for a loss, with a career high in tackles for a loss last season with eight.

However, his performance while consistent felt underwhelming when watching him play. If the Atlanta Falcons can unlock that potential, they could find a starter which is great at this point in the 2023 NFL Mock Draft.
