The first season for head coach Brian Daboll with the New York Giants should be viewed as a great success. He took a team that was coming off a 4-13 season and had questions on both sides of the ball and was able to get them to the playoffs with a 9-7-1 record and get to the NFC Divisional Round after beating the Minnesota Vikings.

The goal is now to build off that promising start and the two big questions are what they do with Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, two players who are set to be free agents this offseason. The hopeful scenario is to sign one to a new contract and use a franchise tag on the other player.

If they can achieve that, these are four players that should be options for the Giants in the 2023 NFL Draft with their first round pick with the 25th overall pick.

One position that the New York Giants should be looking to upgrade this offseason is linebacker, particularly inside linebacker. They released starter Blake Martinez prior to the season and it was a collection of players over the year manning the position like Jarrad Davis, Micah McFadden and Tae Crowder.

At this point of the first round, the Giants could have some options if this is the position they want to address and the best likely would be Noah Sewell out of Oregon. In three seasons, Sewell had 218 total tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks.

The addition of Sewell to a front seven that already has players like Leonard Williams, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Dexter Lawrence would immediately improve this defense.
