The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a bit of uncharted territory heading into the 2023 NFL Draft. The Jaguars had the first overall pick in the previous two drafts and selected Trevor Lawrence in 2021 and Travon Walker in 2022.

It remains to be seen if Walker was a good pick but this past season Trevor Lawrence looked the part of a franchise quarterback and took a big step forward. This was one of the main reasons, along with the addition of Doug Pederson as head coach, that the Jaguars would go on to win the AFC South and make the playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season.

Now looking ahead, the Jaguars are set to pick in the back half of the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft and when they are on the clock, these are four players that make sense for them.

O’Cyrus Torrence

The Jacksonville Jaguars look to be set at offensive tackle with Cam Robinson set to return from injury and the promising season of Walker Little at right tackle. If they can re-sign Jawaan Taylor, who is a free agent this offseason, this position will be in a good place with three quality tackles.

However, the guard position is one that the Jacksonville Jaguars could look to improve. If they wait until the 2023 NFL Draft then O’Cyrus Torrence could be an option in the first round. He is probably the best player at his position in this draft class and would be an instant starter along this line.
