Alabama has the most players drafted in the first round

There are a number of schools that could find themselves with the most players drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Georgia, who just won their second consecutive national championship, has players like Jalen Carter, Broderick Jones, Kelee Ringo, and even Darnell Washington that have a chance to hear their names called that first night.

One of the teams they beat in the College Football Playoffs, Ohio State will also have a number of players who have a chance to be selected in the first round like C.J. Stroud, Paris Johnson Jr., Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Dawand Jones.

However, in the end it will be the University of Alabama that have the most players selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. At the top of the draft are players like Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. who should be two of the first five or six players drafted.

After those two, safety Brian Branch, linebacker Henry To’oTo’o and even running back Jahmyr Gibbs have a good chance of being selected in that initial round. This should be enough to push Alabama toward the front in terms of players drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
