The Cincinnati Bengals for the second year in a row made a deep playoff run but this year it ended in the AFC Championship Game when they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Bengals didn’t achieve their ultimate goal, they should feel good about where their team is and they look like a perennial Super Bowl contender out of the AFC for the foreseeable future.

This offseason, the Bengals have a number of players on the defensive side of the ball that are set to be free agents like Jessie Bates III, Vonn Bell, Germaine Pratt, and Eli Apple. That is why the focus for this seven-round mock draft, with the help of Pro Football Focus’ Mock Draft Simulator, was on the defensive side of the ball but it starts off finding another playmaker for Joe Burrow.

Joe Burrow has arguably the best trio of wide receivers in the NFL with Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd while also having Joe Mixon in the backfield. One position that is in question though is at tight end as Hayden Hurst is set to be a free agent.

Dalton Kincaid has been a big part of the Utah offense the past two seasons with 106 receptions, 1,400 receiving yards, and 16 receiving touchdowns. For a team that could potentially be losing Tee Higgins after the 2023 season, it would make sense for them to add a receiving tight end like Dalton Kincaid.
