Sydney Brown
On the National Team, another defensive back who has had a great week of practice is safety Sydney Brown out of Illinois. Brown had an impressive final season for Illinois when he had 60 total tackles, six interceptions, and seven passes defended. He has continued that strong play at the Senior Bowl.
According to Tony Pauline with Pro Football Network, Brown had another great day of practice on Thursday and Pauline believes he has improved his draft stock.
Sydney Brown/S/@IlliniFootball is having another terrific day @seniorbowl practice and making a lot of plays in coverage. Absolutely raising his draft stock.

The question is just how far he has raised his draft stock but there is likely a number of teams that are going to be looking for a safety like Sydney Brown in the 2023 NFL Draft. He could be a good fit for a team like the Buffalo Bills who could be losing Jordan Poyer in free agency this offseason.
