One player that had a really good week in Mobile, AL was Olusegun Oluwatimi who previously played for the University of Michigan. The center regularly had practice reps like this one tweeted by Cam Mellor with College Football Network where he was able to stonewall defensive tackles.
The Buffalo Bills do still have last year’s starter, Mitch Morse, under contract for the 2023 season but with a high cap hit, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him be cut. Even if he does remain with the team, adding his potential replacement would make a great deal of sense as Morse has missed games now in two of the past three years.
The focus remains on the interior of the offensive line with the Buffalo Bills next selection in this seven-round mock draft as the Buffalo Bills select Jarrett Patterson out of Notre Dame. He is an experienced offensive lineman who played a lot at center up until last year when he moved over to left guard.
The Buffalo Bills have always seemed to value versatility when it comes to their offensive linemen and adding a player who could realistically step in at guard or center would be a plus.
If the Buffalo Bills were to draft him, he likely would come in and be expected either to replace Rodger Saffold, if the team doesn’t re-sign him, or compete with someone like Ryan Bates depending on what they might do in free agency. Either way, this is another player that could start almost immediately depending on how the roster is shuffled prior to the NFL Draft.
