2023 NFL Mock Draft: Buffalo Bills 7-round mock draft after Senior Bowl
The final pick in this seven-round mock draft for the Buffalo Bills goes back to defense as they add more depth at the safety position. The team already drafted Christopher Smith earlier but that doesn’t address the need completely.
In addition to the questions around Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde, it remains to be seen when Damar Hamlin, who suffered a scary injury against the Cincinnati Bengals during the regular season, might be able to return. In addition to that, Jaquan Johnson and Dean Marlowe are also set to be a free agent.
Brandon Hill out of Pittsburgh is a great addition to add depth to the position, a player that can contribute on special teams and potentially develop into a starter down the road. If the Buffalo Bills are able to draft both Christopher Smith and Brandon Hill, they could round out the position with undrafted free agents or veterans.
