Who could the New Orleans Saints draft in the first round with the recent pick they acquired in the Sean Payton trade?

The New Orleans Saints are back in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft after reaching a deal with the Denver Broncos for former head coach Sean Payton. According to Jeff Legwood with ESPN, the New Orleans Saints received the 29th overall pick this year and a 2024 second round pick for the Saints’ former head coach, and a 2024 fourth round pick.

This pick that the Broncos traded actually originally belonged to the San Francisco 49ers as they traded it to the Miami Dolphins as part of the package to move up to select quarterback Trey Lance in 2021.

However, the Dolphins would trade that pick to the Denver Broncos this past season for pass rusher Bradley Chubb.

Now with the New Orleans Saints back in the first round, these are four players that could make sense based on their roster needs.
