Predicting the AFC starting QBs for the 2023 season – AFC West

Denver Broncos – Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson is not going anywhere and I do think he’ll bounce back in year one with Sean Payton.  This could be a very nice marriage for the two parties.  To make matters potentially better, the Broncos do have themselves a nice stable of weapons on offense, so I think this team can make some noise.

Kansas City Chiefs – Patrick Mahomes

Can Mahomes win a second Super Bowl in four seasons?  He may end up as the greatest of all time when it’s all said and done, and Mahomes is going to be very, very high on the all-time leaderboards in the major QB passing categories.

Los Angeles Chargers – Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert is an insane talent and should get a massive extension this offseason.  The Chargers are about $20 million over the cap, so they’ll have some work to do to get under the cap to be able to extend Herbert.

Las Vegas Raiders – Aaron Rodgers

The major move for the Raiders will be them acquiring Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers where he gets to reunite with his old friend Davante Adams after one year apart.

This does make sense as the team has essentially already dumped Derek Carr.  Rodgers for two years might give them a better chance at success than keeping Carr around.
