There will likely be temptation for the Chicago Bears to take one of the top-defenders in the class. Any combination of DT Jalen Carter, Edge Tyree Wilson, and cornerbacks Devon Witherspoon & Christian Gonzalez could find themselves available at No. 9. But the Bears spent their first two picks in last draft shoring up the secondary and should focus their approach on building a stronger & more diverse offense around Justin Fields.

This should in the trenches and Peter Skoronski would be the ideal pick to start this draft class. A popular pick for the Bears by mainstream media, Skoronski presents an impressive skillset and versatility that should justify his selection here immediately. He played left tackle at Northwestern but can start either tackle or guard in Chicago. Skoronski possesses everything you want in an offensive lineman, he’s tough, smart, and experienced. While he lacks ideal length, kicking him inside would mitigate any potential concerns. He has future pro bowler written all over him.
