The Chicago Bears addressed their immediate concern of protecting Justin Fields and now move to the other side of the trenches. Chicago ranked dead last in the NFL in sacks, finishing the season with only 20 (in comparison, the Eagles led the league with 70). Addressing the defensive end should be another critical focus to address, something they have yet to really do in free agency.

Enter Tuli Tuipulotu. The hybrid defensive lineman from USC possesses a unique blend of size and athleticism, demonstrating the versatility to play as either an interior or edge defender. Tuipulotu was incredibly productive leading the PAC-12 in sacks last season with 13.5. He plays with power more than speed or finesse, but has more than capable get-off and an unrelenting motor. He’d be a welcome addition for a Bears defense desperately needing a viable pass rush.
