#1. Aaron Donald

Was there any doubt that Aaron Donald would be in the top spot on this list? The multiple-time Defensive Player of the Year has single-handedly redefined the impact of defensive tackles in the game. He put himself into the conversation with players like Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White as one of the most unstoppable defensive players of all time.

Despite being a defensive tackle, a position not typically known for generating eye-popping statistics, Donald recorded an impressive nine sacks, showcasing his rare combination of pass-rush ability. His performances were so dominant that he earned the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award, setting the stage for a remarkable career ahead.

His resume is downright hilarious. He’s won Defensive Player of the Year for an NFL record three times, he’s been a Pro Bowl selection in all nine of his NFL seasons and a seven-time first-team All-Pro.

Donald was also a member of the team that won Super Bowl LVI. These alone validate his position as the best player from the 2014 NFL Draft class. Simply put, Donald is one of the greatest defensive players of all time.
