NFL Combine: Pitt WR Jon Baldwin to Work With Revis After Combine

Subsequently to the NFL Scouting Combine, Pittsburgh WR, Jonathan Baldwin will head to Minneapolis to work out with New York Jets CB, Darrelle Revis. Revis is an alumni of Pittsburgh, and will help him transition to the NFL.

Baldwin taking the initiative to workout with one of the NFL’s elite corner backs, will expedite his maturation. Not only can Revis teach him about the receiver position from the eyes of a corner back, but he can provide him with valuable knowledge on the work ethic and conditioning that’s necessary to be successful at the next level. Baldwin will also work with the likes of Aaron Rogers, Greg Jennings, and Roddy White.

There have been questions about Baldwin’s character and passion for the game. He has set out to assure scouts and coaches otherwise. In Baldwin’s circle is former New England All-Pro CB, Ty Law, and former Bengals DT, John Thorton. They have been advising him during this crazy time of the year. If Baldwin can excel during the interview process, and put up good numbers in the on field drills, he may find his stock greatly improved.
