No. 2 quarterback prospect Marcus Mariota looked really good at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine. His footwork was much better, he showed that he had a good arm, and had accuracy to go with it. Then of course, there’s the athleticism as he ran 4.53 40, had a 36 inch vertical leap and a 6.87 3-cone drill.

Mariota showed he’s the most athletic quarterback prospect but not the best quarterback period. He’s in a two-man race with Winston for that title but Winston was more impressive in different ways. Winston impressed in the way a quarterback prospect needs to as he is now clearly the No. 1 quarterback prospect.
