The 2015 NFL Scouting Combine just put outside linebacker prospect Vic Beasley back among the top 10 prospects. During the season, the scouting media had Beasley in the top 10 but has since  dropped him. They said he was too light in the booty and had concerns about his strength to play against the run.

Many believe the combine doesn’t matter and that it’s all about what the player does on the field. But if that were the case, there would be no such thing as the NFL Scouting Combine. The combine is a chance for players to confirm what scouts know or show some things that scouts didn’t know.

And Beasley took advantage of his opportunity to show the scouting world some things they didn’t know. At the same time, he confirmed a few things to they knew and then some. Altogether, he showed in the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine that he should be the first edge-rusher prospect to be taken off the board.
