Time for a look at what the Oakland Raiders two-deep Depth Chart may look like for 2016!

The standard for being a starter for the Oakland Raiders has gone up exponentially. No longer will you see guys that couldn’t start on any other team in the NFL starting for the Sivler and Black. Also gone are the days that players that shouldn’t even be in the league are Raiders backups.

In about a week, when the Raiders open training camp, the battles to earn a starting spot, a backup spot, or just a spot on the roster will begin. With the last few drafts and the Raiders’ free agency haul this year, the starting spots are set with very few potential surprises.

The surprises will generally be players coming out of nowhere to earn a backup spot. This Raiders team has much more depth than it did last year or in the recent past. So the battles in training camp will be tough as it is much harder to be a Raider now that it has been an a long time.
