The 2017 NFL Draft is a far way off but it’s never to early to start projecting the NFL Draft order.

The Cleveland Browns have put themselves in strong position to sit atop the 2017 NFL draft order. They are the last winless team and don’t appear ready to break that streak. The injury problems at quarterback are really setting them back.

However, there are some positive signs to take from such a poor start. Terrelle Pryor has established himself as a No. 1 receiver capable of producing big plays. The defense has several young players making major contributions– most notably Emmanuel Ogbah.

An interesting development is that teams like the Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles and Browns aren’t getting great returns on their trades. The Titans and Browns own two 1st round picks but those extras are coming later due to the success of the trading partner.

Philadelphia would hold the final pick in the first round thanks to their trade sending Sam Bradford to the Vikings.

This projected draft order was based on ESPN’s latest power rankings.
