last weekend on a peculiar charge that is still in need of details to figure out exactly what has happened. Nevertheless,
head coach
Nick Saban
is certainly not going to be happy with the fact that he will be forced to address the two arrests and it remains to be see what actions he will take on the two players, if any.
Reed is listed as a 6’4″ 310lb defensive lineman, which is an area where Saban has expressed significant concern going back to Spring Ball, where he unleashed on a reporter who did not ask a question about the defensive line in a way he would have liked. Saban then proceeded to go on a rant about how concerned he was with that position and the players that have come in to play it this year. Considering the way last season ended and the start of this one, Saban cannot be happy.
