Notable Games
- Stanford
Walker had a decent performance against the Cardinal last year, but the talent they have in their front seven and ability to change up looks is a good test for any lineman. The fact that USC was able to upset Stanford just adds another element of emotion.

- Arizona State
The Sun Devils focus their scheme around speed and quickness, attacking from all different angles. The use of multiple fronts as well as the fact that Arizona State was the tipping point in firing Lane Kiffin last year will provide plenty of reasons to watch this matchup for Walker.
- UCLA
This is unfortunately where Walker’s season ended last year with the broken ankle. Not only was he unable to finish the game, but they lost; both of which are surely sore spots for Walker. This is going to be a hugely important game for the Trojans and especially Walker as it is his last against the Bruins.
System Fit
- Zone Scheme Guard
Walker has the movement skills combined with the strength to play in a blocking scheme with a heavy emphasis on zone blocking. It is what he has spent his career doing at USC. This could be the best possible situation for him in the NFL if he can find a team with a great coaching staff.
- Gap Scheme Guard
Walker’s athleticism and size certainly will not hurt him with gap heavy schemes. In some ways, he is more effective in a phone both.
- Right Tackle
Walker has all of the movement skills to play right tackle in any scheme. Obviously he needs to master guard first, but he may be a player that could provide depth at right tackle for a team in a pinch.
