Pick No. 6: Amari Cooper (Alabama)

With the sixth pick in the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select receiver Amari Cooper from the Alabama Crimson Tide. With Winston and Mariota gone, the Titans will be better off staying with Zach Mettenburger or Jake Locker. Cooper and all of his talent could possibly turn one of those men into a legitimate starting quarterback in the NFL.

Cooper is a true playmaker, the likes of which the team hasn’t really seen since Kenny Britt was there in his prime. If you look at all the receivers the Titans have had since his departure, it’s no wonder why their quarterbacks have done nothing. I really liked Jake Locker coming out of the University of Washington and still think he would be much better with some good receivers.
