Shaq Thompson (Washington)

With the 18th pick in the NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens Select Shaq Thompson from the Washington Huskies. Thompson is definitely the best football player on the board at this time and may slide down this far because the NFL doesn’t know what to make of him. The 2-way player is a good running back but he’s coming out as an outside linebacker, making his evaluation a little tougher.

But a general manager like Ozzie Newsome is going to see him as a good football player that can really help his defense. He’ll be on the other side of T-Sizzle (Terrell Suggs) coming off the edge and in coverage as he is equally capable of both. The Ravens’ defense is sitting just outside the top 10 right now and adding Thompson brings more speed to put it over the top.
