La’el Collins (LSU)

With the 31st pick in the NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select left tackle La’el Collins from the LSU Tigers. The the reason why the 49ers won’t win the Super Bowl is because their offensive line isn’t the greatest at pass protecting these days. And when they see Von Miller and Demarcus Ware, quarterback Colin Kaepernick will be running for his life and getting sacked.

Is All-Pro left tackle Joe Staley just having a bad year or is he on the decline?

Is Anothony Davis that good period?

Bring in Collins, have him compete, put the best tackle on the left side, the second best on the right side and move the third one to guard. That pushes either Alex Boone or Mike Iupati out of one of the guard spots. Iupati is a free agent at the end of the season so he could be on his way out the door anyway.
