No 4: Jaelen Strong Stats

71 catches 982 yards 13.8 ypc 9 touchdowns 11 games

Why he’s on the list

Jaelen Strong is one of those bully-ball receivers at 6’3″, 212 pounds and some of the best hands in college football. Opposing corners look like a little kids trying to stop Strong as they get pushed off or hang on him as he catches the ball. That one-handed catch he made in the redzone yesterday on a short touchdown was a display off just how good his hands are.

Why he’s not higher

Strong isn’t very fast so I would like to see him plant his foot in the ground and explode out of a break to get open. He has only one trick and I like a pony that can do all of the tricks and if not, they at least have to be able to do more than one. Plus the other receivers in this ranking can do more than just high-point a ball while walling a defender off.
