No. 3: DeVante Parker Stats

29 catches 551 yards 19.1 ypc 2 touchdowns 5 games

Why he’s on the list

DeVante Parker is 6’3″, 205 pounds and can high-point the ball just like Strong but he’s a good route runner as well. When matched of on Florida State corner P.J. Williams, who’s also going in the first round, he shook him for a few catches on the way to eight for 214 yards on the day. He’s also the most natural pass catcher in the 2015 NFL Draft to me as he catches the ball according to how it’s thrown.

Why he’s not higher

I understand that he played well last year too but as sweet as his sample size is this year, four games isn’t big enough. We’ll see him in his fifth game later on today so I’m going to wait and see if I can put him any higher than he is after the season. Also, he seems pretty fast but not a blazer and I’m not saying that’s everything but I’m comparing him to other receivers here.
