Indiana RB Tevin Coleman declares for the NFL Draft

Indiana running back Tevin Coleman has declared for the 2015 NFL Draft and signed with an agent.  Coleman was a breakout star for the Hoosiers this season with only one game where he had less than 100 yards rushing.  While the Hoosiers only won four games this season, Coleman had a big game out of the game and seemed to get better as the season progressed.  The running back class for the 2015 NFL Draft could be a historic one despite the lack of an obvious first round pick and Coleman only makes that group even better.

Coleman is listed at 6’1″ 210lbs with long legs and good long speed.  Despite four games with over 200 yards rushing, the team was only able to win one of those games; the opener against Indiana State.  Nevertheless, Coleman was able to put on an impressive display against the Ohio State Buckeyes with 228 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns in a game that was tight until the Buckeyes broke it open late in the game.  He ran for 307 yards in a losing effort against Rutgers and another 219 yards against Iowa with 3 more touchdowns on just 15 carries.  Coleman also caught 25 passes this season for 141 yards.  In all, Coleman had 2,177 total yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games.
