Among the junior entrees into this year’s NFL Draft, Carter’s may be one of the more prudent entries.  The cornerback class for the 2015 NFL Draft is unsettled to say the least with injuries and off field issues assaulting many of the favorites to go early, including Ifo Ekpre-Olomu of Oregon suffering a knee injury within the last month, Marcus Peters of Washington being kicked off of the team for a number of issues and P.J. Williams of Florida State having yet declared but also having a hit and run incident that was covered up by the Tallahassee police as reported by the New York Times.  As a result, Carter may well have a shot to not only get selected in the first round, he has has a chance to be selected as the top corner in this class.

This past season, Carter finished the season with 38 solo tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception, and 8 pass deflections in 13 games.
