No Production

After watching after watching him do pretty much nothing for a few games, I looked up his stats. And my goodness, the kid had a sack -and-a-half this year and has only 4.5 sacks in his three years at LSU. But I guess that shouldn’t surprise me because 2014 No. 1 pick Jadeveon Clowney had only three sacks his last year.

I understand that stats aren’t everything and length and agility translate but production has to mean something. No matter how great the coaching is, he’s not going to go from minimal sacks on guys studying for finals to a bunch of them on guys feeding their kids right away. And 1st-round picks are asked to do it right away so Hunter should have waited another year to work on things.
