Round, 2: Devin Smith

Andre Holmes being your big-play receiver leads to teams ranking at the bottom of the NFL in big passing plays. I expect the Raiders to make a big splash in free agency. Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Devin Smith has risen up draft boards and as of now, the personnel world has him in the second round so that’s where the Raiders take him.

He has the ability to blow by defensive backs and also unlike Holmes, he has great hands to bring back the deep ball. A few big plays by Smith will open up all the underneath and intermediate routes. It also takes the safety out of the box to help Latavius Murray get going running the football.
