My Take

I agree with the scouts on how disruptive he is and how consistent he is with it, especially coming off the edge as a 4-3 end. He has a very exciting combination of speed and power as he will beat a tackle just as well with a bull-rush as going around him. He’s the perfect size for a right end in a 4-3 and so strong, he’s really stout against the run.

I love the way he uses his quick hands to either slap hands away from him or use a swim-move. He also has a tornado of a spin-move and it doesn’t have to take a back seat to smaller edge-rushers. And it 6’3″, he has extra-long arms for his height and uses them to get control of blockers then discard them.

I have no idea what the scouting world is talking about when the say lack of burst. He has tremendous burst around the corner and the talk about it then later, the same scout says he doesn’t have it. Two concerns I have is his flexibility to turn the corner low to duck under and of course the hip surgeries.
