At 6’4″, 258 pounds, Walford could fit in with any smash-mouth football team is he is very physical. He is an excellent blocker and after the catch, it takes about six people to bring him down at times. And if you have to bring him down yourself, you have to watch out for his neck-breaking stiff arm.

On top of that, he’s and excellent route runner and has great speed for his on the field.

How many tight ends can make it 61 yards, 40-plus after the catch, on a Florida State secondary?

A lot of NFL tight ends can’t do that.

He’s slated to go in the second round on most draft boards and that’s about right but he could sneak into the first with a great combine.
