Size Questions Answered

Can you win an NFL Scouting combine?

If you can, Humphries has definitely won on all the scorecards for all the offensive lineman that competed. One of the biggest questions about Humphries was about his size as he played this past season at 280 pounds. But he came in solidly over 300 pounds as he tipped the scales at 307 at the weigh-in.

But it doesn’t stop there, the scouts are just as particular about a left tackle’s arm-length and hand-size. Humphries came out in the top half of all the offensive line prospects with 10-inch hands. He was also came out with 33 5/8-inch long arms which isn’t particularly long but functional in the NFL.

So the questions about his physical stature are answered.
