Tested Well

Question number one was answered at the weigh-in when Humphries came in over 300 pounds. He then had to answer the question scouts had about his strength and he proved to be strong enough. He banged out 26 reps of 225 pounds to make his way unto the Top Performer’s list in that category.

Then after that, he showed that he was able to maintain his athleticism despite gaining 27 pounds. Humphries ran an impressive 5.12 in the 40-yard dash, getting on the Top Performers list again.  And to cap off his show of elite athleticism for an offensive line prospect, he ran a 7.87 in the 3-cone drill, once again, claiming a Top performer spot.

Humphries was then able to show his wares more in the drills, showing all of the ingredients a franchise left tackle needs. He’s a knee bender, gets out of his stance quick, has a good kick-slide and has excellent hand-punch. The combine had to have made him an elite left tackle prospect that continues his rise up draft boards.
