Does your team need a left tackle?
If it does, I really recommend that they take Humphries because he’s unlike the previous prospects of the SEC. From Michael Oher to Luke Joekel, left tackles from the SEC haven’t done well in the NFL for the most part. But this Humphries kid is the truth and will put one in the win column for the SEC for left tackles.
His tape is even with if not better than his combine performance so to me, the top 10 isn’t a reach. His kick-slide is something to behold to go along with his hand punch and knee bend. And no, he’s not just a workout warrior that wins the Underwear Olympics that can’t play the game.
He has handled the top pass rushers of the SEC including projected Top-10 pick Shane Ray.
