Bottom Line
This Conley kid was on the borderline of getting drafted and now, I wonder just how high he’ll go. At his size, running a 4.35 40 and jumping 45 inches is the freakiest of the freaky at the combine. The kid can play football too but since they don’t throw the ball at Georgia, he had to come outta nowhere.
I thought Strong really did a good job at the combine of silencing any doubts about him. His speed was the only real question the scouting media had about him as he has the best hands coming out. And just when he was starting to fall out of the projected first round, he runs a 4.44 to climb higher into the first round.
And after the combine, White is the new King of the hill among the wide receiver prospects. He gained some ground on Cooper just leading up to the combine but now, he has Cooper well behind him. The only question to ask about White was his speed and he emphatically answered with a 4.35 40.
There will be movement on the draft boards at the receiver position.
