Anthony is a very underrated prospect that gets overshadowed by his teammate, Vic Beasley. His freak-like combine performance was even overshadowed by Beasley, the super-freak. He has every trait you want for his position and all of his weaknesses are easily correctable with coaching.
Rang’s Bottom Line
“A defensive line full of NFL prospects casts a long shadow, but NFL teams in the market for an intense, physical run-stuffing inside linebacker would be wise to keep an eye on Anthony, the Tigers’ leading tackler the past two seasons.”
Zlerlein’s Bottom Line
“Anthony has the athleticism to be an NFL linebacker, but he’s not an explosive talent. He tries to get downhill and make plays, but more often it feels like he’s guessing rather than instinctive. He’ll take high-risk chances that will turn some coaches off. Anthony can make it in the league but he might be more of a depth-chart player than a long-time starter.”
Right now, he’s projected to go in the fourth round on most of the boards I’ve seen.
