Sure, there have been some players that have come along and surprised us over the years in the NFL. But for the most part, the seventh round is a pick for depth instead of immediate impact. And that is what I’m expecting out of the seventh-round pick the Raiders will be making this year.
So I believe that offensive lineman Adam Shead is the guy the Raiders should pick in the seventh round. The Raiders need some depth on that offensive line because guys go down all the time. And this 6’4″, 338 pounder will at least be a road grader for the Raiders’ smash-mouth football brand in 2015.
