Terrance Knighton

There are now numerous reports that the Raiders are close to signing nose tackle Terrance Knighton from the Denver Broncos. He had six sacks last year and is the best defensive lineman against the run in the NFL. The only reason why the Raiders still have a chance to get Knighton is his love for head coach Jack Del Rio.

If Knighton is signed, this movie will already play out much better than the last year’s did. Harrison and Knighton would give the Raiders more strength at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Taking the two off of the Chiefs and Broncos respectively gives Raiders less to deal with in the AFC West too.

There are also still some other young players left that can provide the Raiders a few needed upgrades. They may not be the big-name players they wanted but the Raiders need to act fast to get them. There are also some other less known players that can really help the Raiders at some positions.
