Thomas was the big catch for the big money in the 2015 NFL Free Agency period for the Jags. The receiver corps around him looks promising so Bortles shouldn’t have a hard time making the big jump in his second year. So in the passing game, I fully expect Thomas to earn the money he just signed for.
It doesn’t look like their going to bring running back Demarco Murray in but that’s not really what they need. Toby Gerhart is a good player that just couldn’t get going after injuring his foot on opening day. If left tackle Luke Joeckel comes through this year, the Jags will have an offense that can compete.
On defense, they’ll be even more set as the unit was actually pretty good last year but got better. Odrick will be there to rush the passer this year and will make a formidable duo with Marks when he gets back. House will strengthen the corner position and all the Jags will need is an edge rusher to become a great defense.
Fowler in the draft is the answer there.
Look out Colts!
